Game Sensitivity Converter

Switching games? Convert your sensitivity so a full turn takes the same mouse movement in the new game. Changing DPI too? Enter both and it adjusts for that.

How the sensitivity converter works

Every game turns the camera by a fixed number of degrees per mouse count at sensitivity 1, called its yaw. If you know both games’ yaw values, you can find the sensitivity that makes one full 360° turn take exactly the same mouse distance in both. That distance (cm/360) is what your muscle memory is built on.

New sensitivity = old sensitivity × old yaw × old DPI ÷ (new yaw × new DPI)

Quick conversion ratios (same DPI)

From → ToMultiply by
Valorant → CS2 / Apex3.18
CS2 / Apex → Valorant0.314
CS2 / Apex → Overwatch / CoD3.33
Overwatch / CoD → CS2 / Apex0.3
Fortnite (X %) → CS2 / Apex≈ 0.25

Changing DPI without changing feel

Going from 400 to 800 DPI? Set the same game on both sides, enter the old and new DPI, and the converter halves your sensitivity so your aim feels the same. Higher DPI with a lower in-game sensitivity can feel a little smoother on high-resolution screens.

After converting

  1. Check the 180° turn. It should take the same physical movement as before.
  2. Tune scoped / ADS separately. Multipliers aren’t comparable between games.
  3. Give it a few sessions. Different field of view (FOV) can make the same cm/360 feel faster or slower at first.

See your current numbers in the eDPI calculator, and check your real DPI with the mouse DPI test.

Frequently asked questions

How does the converter keep the same feel?

It matches cm/360: the mouse distance for a full 360° turn. Each game turns by a known amount per sensitivity unit (its yaw), so the converter solves for the sensitivity that gives the same turn per centimetre.

Will scoped / ADS aim feel the same too?

This converts hip-fire (unscoped) sensitivity. Scoped and ADS multipliers work differently in each game, so fine-tune those in-game after converting.

What's the Valorant to CS2 ratio?

CS2 sensitivity = Valorant sensitivity × 3.18 at the same DPI (0.07 ÷ 0.022). Apex uses the same scale as CS2, and Overwatch is CS2 × 3.33.
